Rex Freeman, outgoing Chairperson, says:

"when the Cambridge Competitive Music Festival began in 1934, its main aim was to encourage music making.

 That's still our aim.

We hope it will provide an incentive for musicians of all abilities to

share their music with other musicians of similar talents and musical interests

receive advice & encouragement from very experienced professional musicians".
